CounselWorks LLC is a dynamic and growing consulting firm that provides business, regulatory and compliance consulting services to hedge funds, broker dealers and other financial institutions. We manage outsourced compliance procedures, support our clients during regulatory exams, provide advice and counseling on industry regulations, and handle special projects as needed.
CounselWorks LLC is currently looking to fill a TEMP to PERM Analyst position:
Some responsibilities will include but not limited to:
· Draft and revise compliance forms and documents
· Implement new compliance policies and procedures of clients.
· Organize and review personal trading statements and confirmations (prevention of insider trading)
· Monitor clients’ employees’ communication, i.e., email correspondence
· Evaluate compliance policies and procedures through forensic testing as part of mock SEC examinations
· Assist in the registration of broker-dealers and investment advisers
· Create compliance presentations, including annual compliance training to investment adviser personnel
Job Qualifications
College Student or College Grad: Bright, articulate self-starter interesting in learning about the hedge fund, brokerage and financial community. Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
